FXChange app for iPhone and iPad

This app is designed to provide:

⁃ travellers (both business and personal) with an opportunity to exchange or sell the small amounts of foreign currency brought back from trips abroad

⁃ those about to travel with a flexible, cheaper and local alternative to purchase foreign currency

⁃ backpackers and multi-country travellers with an option to exchange their unwanted foreign currency in remote locations

⁃ Brasilian travelers with an opportunity to save the IOF tax charged on foreign transactions

By placing sellers in direct contact with potential buyers and advising a ‘fair value’ amount based on the current market mid-rate, we aim to bypass the large fees and wide margins charged by banks and exchange outlets, resulting in cheaper, flexible and personal transactions for both parties.

As a welcome gesture your first exchange is free, whilst a subsequent lifetime unlimited usage of the app will require a one-time in-app purchase ($0.99).
